Reducing our dependence on oil, especially foreign oil, must be a priority of the next Congress. Clean, renewable sources of energy — nuclear, solar, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, biofuel, etc. — are essential to the evolution of how our nation generates and uses energy, and none must be taken off the table.
